Products: Benjamin Moore brand Aura Exterior paint and Arborcoat solid body stain.

Methods: I’m a fan of modern architecture and this Warren Pollock designed home is absolutely stunning. There were some challenges on this house with being able to get at all of the different levels.  It’s a long ways up to the top of this house. Prep consisted of a thorough washing, scraping of failing paint and caulking around windows where needed. We decided to go with a solid body stain on the siding and we have nothing but great things to say about Benjamin Moore’s latest product Arborcoat. On this home it gives us a lovely matte finish while allowing the grain of the wood to show through. To complete the premium project we used Semi-Gloss Aura Exterior paint on all of the caps and metal flashing to give the most durable, washable finish possible on these areas. This house was stunning with a tired paint job and is simply breathtaking now that we’ve done our magic.

Client testimonial: “Step Up Painting was one of 4 bidders. Gary was prompt, courteous and provided detailed description of the proposed job. We selected Step Up not only because they were the low bid but because they were the most knowledgeable about the type of product that would be compatible with the original finish. When we notified Gary that they were selected he gave an estimated start date which they met. He estimated 10 days to complete the work and finished in 9. Gary helped with the color selection and mixed and painted color samples to assist us in the selection. The paint crew headed up by Jason was prompt courteous and cleaned up daily. Upon completion they promptly returned to attend to a minor punch list. I would without reservation use Step Up again.” – Carmine B.
